How We Work

Community-Led from the Start

“The mountain is part of our lives — now it’s also part of our future.”
We begin by building trust. Through focus group discussions with local communities—mostly women—we identify native plants and fungi traditionally used for food, medicine, and income. This knowledge shapes everything: what we harvest, how we protect it, and how we share the benefits.

Sustainable & Ethical Harvesting

Only what nature allows. Only with care.

Collectors are trained in sustainable, non-destructive harvesting methods that follow the FairWild Standard. Each collector receives a unique ID and annual contract, emphasising professionalism, hygiene, and conservation. Regular site assessments and a resource management plan guide every step.

Fair Pricing & Fast Payments

Respecting the value of time, knowledge, and effort.
